Christmas 2010: Connecticut

Our Connecticut gathering for Christmas happened on Christmas weekend itself this year. There were as usual lots of goodies

A treat of having Laura living with Mom is that there was the larger tree, beautifully decorated as always.

On Christmas Eve we had the usual gathering at Mom's.

The consensus this year was to not draw names, but to do a Yankee Swap. There were a lot of great gift ideas (not all of which I have pictured here).

Some were easier to open than others.

Christmas day we had dinner over at Emil's place. He made a nice fire in his fireplace for us. He also fixed some fancy 'Gingerbread Martinis' for all who wanted them. Very decorative drink!

And now to our Christmas 2011
