Cranberry Harvest

Have you ever seen cranberries harvested? There are two methods, wet and dry. For information on dry harvesting, you can check out the Cranberry Grower Association website. (There is a lot of good information on the site!) Most bogs are harvested using the wet method, including the one closest to us. These berries are used for juices, dried cranberries, and other products. The picture below is a link to a photo album we put together showing a bit of the harvest at a cranberry bog.
