Kindle Stands:

A few years ago, Paul had made a wooden stand for Anne's Kindle. After seeing it in action, he decided that it would be nice to have one himself and his mother (who is an avid Kindle reader). Click on the picture below to see a small album with pictures of the stands.

Peaches: Our little peach tree decided to produce this year. We had a pretty good haul, although they are all small. Paul took the ladder out to reach the peaches.

Paul is stending on a ladder in front of a slim peach tree.

May:

The home charger for our Cybertruck has finally been installed! It took a long time (8 months) because Tesla could not figure out how to get the Powershare feature working with our configuration. (Powershare is where the truck can power the house if necessary, acting like a backup generator). Powershare still doesn't work but they tell us that eventually, with the equipment that we had to change out, it will work. We put in some paver stones to make a little walkway to the charger and next to the driveway for getting in and out of the Prius. (click on the picture to see the album.)

Spring at various times:

Here are a handful of pictures from around our yard. First some daffodils from April.

5 daffodils

Here are a couple of bleeding heart flowers, one pink and one white. These are Dicentra Eximia and Dicentra formosa 'Aurora', which are both native North American varieties. These are also from April, although these varieties will bloom all summer if there is not a drought.

April is a busy time for flowers. The plum tree was full of white blossoms and the peach tree had lovely pink flowers.

This next picture was taken in June. It is of what we think is a lacewing with morning dew, perched on a marigold bud. (The second picture is a close-up of the lacewing.)
